Rebecca Bujnowski explores shapes within her artistic practice, with a particular focus on the circle as a recurring element throughout her work. Based on this ongoing exploration, she develops sculptural structures that appear as fragments, openings, or organic systems and create space for multiple associations.

 

Ceramic reliefs and sculptures form the starting point of her works. From these, immersive installations and spatial situations evolve, into which textiles, glass, or time-based media can be integrated, entering into dialogue with the ceramic forms.

 

At the center of her artistic practice lies an engagement with form, material, and process. Through an intuitive and personal approach, structures and surfaces emerge that develop organically during the making process. These forms often evoke growth, decay, or organic systems and move between abstraction and familiarity.

 

In this way, open visual and experiential spaces emerge that invite individual associations and encourage new ways of perceiving form, material, and transformation.
